YES - Trinidad and Tobago are extremely safe. These islands are unique to the Caribbean and the general nature and makeup of the population adds to the beauty and relaxed environment that exists while visiting the islands.

Cancellations will be refunded up to thirty (30) days prior to the retreat. There is a nonrefundable administrative fee of 25% of the value of your package. After that refunds cannot be processed.

The Tobago Muay Thai Retreat is a 6-day structured training experience combining Muay Thai instruction, conditioning, recovery, and cultural immersion in Tobago.
This is a training-focused retreat, designed for all levels of athlete.

The retreat will take place in Tobago, the sister island of Trinidad. With accommodation and training locations held at our partner hotel - Le Grande Courland Spa & Resort in Mount Irvine Tobago.

In the event of an emergency, the Scarborough General Hospital is in Signal Hill (about 20 minutes from the resort) and there are a number of health centers across the island.
Emergency health treatment is free to residents and visitors at all public health facilities; private health facilities often require payment upfront. Follow up with your travel insurance provider for further details on coverage.

The national currency used is the Trinidad and Tobago dollar, TT Dollar or TTD. The exchange with the CAN Dollar is at an average of TT$4.89 to CAD$1.00, however you can check with any bank online for the current rate.
Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Amex) are widely accepted, but carrying some cash is advisable as some smaller facilities and shops accept cash only. For cash transactions, businesses and individuals accept TTD.
You can also change your foreign currency to the local currency at the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad upon arrival for a nominal fee.
You can use the local bank machines. RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) is one of the national banks on the island of Tobago.

Tobago is the smaller of the two islands that make up the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with Trinidad being the main island.
If you are travelling from North America, there are direct flights to Trinidad (Piarco International Airport) from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, New York, Houston and Toronto using Caribbean Airlines, Air Canada, JetBlue, American Airlines or United Airlines.
If you are travelling from across the Atlantic, There are direct flights to Trinidad and even Tobago (on some days) from London and Amsterdam using KLM Airlines or British Airways.
When you land in Trinidad, getting to Tobago is easy.
Using Caribbean Airlines (www.caribbean-airlines.com) there are jumper planes that fly back and forth to the islands all day that cost around CAD$95 for a round trip. The flight is 15 minutes from take-off to landing.
For flights from the Trinidad airport to Tobago, they usually open up for booking 3 months in advance.
Once you get to Tobago, there are many taxi services that can take you directly to the resort from the airport. The taxi service is around TT$100 (CAD$25).

Yes you can. If you book a private room you may bring a partner or spouse and there will be no extra charge unless they want to participate in the excursions or training. Please email to inquire.
Terms & Conditions
1. Your registration is to be considered as a contract between you and Magee Management LLC (Organizer).
2. Spots will be considered BOOKED and SECURED only after registration and payment in full of your chosen package.
3. Refunds can be requested in writing only up to thirty (30) days prior to the event date. There is a non-refundable administrative fee of 25% of the value of the package purchased.
4. You can transfer your package to another athlete by sending a written request to the Organizer who will need to approve it. There is an administrative fee of CAD$70 for this process that must be paid to receive the final confirmation.
5. Any change in your contact details or any other personal information must be communicated at the earliest convenience so we can update our records.
6. Magee Management LLC. is not responsible for any personal belongings left at the camp. It is up to each participant to always keep their personal belongings safe.
7. Magee Management LLC. will immediately exclude any participants from the camp, without refund, in case of:
Aggressive behaviour
Disrespect toward the staff, coaches and other athletes
Any form of abuse including – but not limited to racism, sexism, discrimination and harassment.
8. Magee Management LLC is not responsible for injury and or any liable costs that come from any personal injury. Any medical cost incurred are the sole responsibility of the participant.
9. By completing your registration to the retreat, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the present Terms & Conditions.
10. There will be filming and photography onsite and at the retreat. If you do not consent please let the organizer know in advance.
